Minoan‘s World 9D Cinema

Minoan’s World is an interactive 3D museum and 9D cinema experience in the centre of Chania dedicated to Minoan civilisation, Cretan history and mythology. The visit combines an interactive 3D museum with handcrafted replicas and perspective-based exhibits with a multisensory cinema experience featuring moving seats, surround sound and special effects such as wind, rain, snow, bubbles, lightning, smoke and earthquake simulation. The complete experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, including the museum section and four short films. Narration is available in 14 languages, making the attraction particularly suitable for international visitors and families. The venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers and is located within easy walking distance of Chania's central bus station and historic centre.
