Description
The Seitan Limania area is a dramatic coastal spot on the Akrotiri Peninsula near Chania. It is famous for its narrow, winding fjord-like inlet surrounded by steep limestone cliffs that plunge into bright turquoise water. The landscape is mostly barren rock with sparse Mediterranean vegetation, shaped by strong winds and erosion. Wildlife in the area includes seabirds, goats on the cliffs, and small reptiles adapted to the dry, rugged terrain. Overall, Seitan Limania is known for its striking natural scenery and hidden-beach feel, making it one of the most photographed coastal spots in western Crete.
